Walking about Paris is a fantastic way to see the French capital. I know…I’ve done it many times, as you’ll see in these photos of Paris.

Paris is an amazingly beautiful city. And walking about Paris is a fantastic way to see the French capital. In fact, you can see just about everything in the city by foot and Metro.
On my several visits to that beautiful city, I’ve walked more than I have in any other. And enjoyed every minute of it, from early morning to late at night.
And being a photographer, I’ve found Paris to be a great treasure trove for photos, everywhere I’ve gone. On each trip I always discover many new places. But I still return to the old and familiar since I can never seem to get enough of them. And I always see them in a different light.

What you’ll see below are photos of Paris I’ve taken over the years. You can see many of these places on self-walking tours. If you haven’t done it already, you should read two articles — Where to Find 8 Wonderful Walks in Paris and A 2-Day Walking Tour of Paris, With Map. Both will show you where you can take some very interesting Paris walks and take photos of Paris that will bring you back to the city again and again.
First though, wander the streets of Paris with me, as you meander through the gallery below.

Wonderful photos. Was supposed to be in Paris this week so this was almost as good. Thank you for this site. Keep the photos coming!

Hi Patty,
I’m glad I was able to save you the airfare to Paris also. And thanks for the kind words about the photos.

Thank you so much for the photos of Paris. It’s a way to relive my several trips to that wonderful city without actually having to fly there. How lucky I was to be on the Danube cruise a few years ago, meet you and was able to hook onto your blog.
I am supposed to be in Portugal right now with Road Scholar, but it will have to wait…
Jim Ferri says
Hi Carole,
Thanks for your feedback and that I was able to see Paris once again without spending money on the airfare. I was glad to meet you on the cruise, as well. And don’t worry about Portugal…it will still be there for all of us when this is all over.

Thanks Jim. Keep doing this. I am going to look for my slides from Paris, but they will not be as beautiful as yours. Hopefully they will help me to remember better times. Love Wini
