Jim Ferri, the Editor of Never Stop Traveling, is still a wide-eyed traveler at heart and travels extensively throughout the year.
He began his career as a freelance magazine photographer and writer, and traveled extensively photographing and writing for numerous U.S. and European publications. His travels have taken him all over the world from Tanzania to Thailand…Vietnam to Vatican City…Canada to Cambodia and far beyond.
The former Managing Editor of Travel-Holiday magazine, Jim was also the U.S. Director of PR and Communications for Air France, and worldwide Director of Public Relations for Cendant, at the time the world’s largest hotel company. He has also held senior positions at two of the largest public relations firms in the world.
He has been a guest lecturer at the Graduate School of New York University, St. John’s University, and Georgetown University, and a keynote speaker at the California Travel Association’s national conference.
Jim Ferri is member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Travel and Tourism Section of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). In addition, he is a member of the Panel of Tourism Experts of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
