The San Telmo Market is an antique fair that takes place in the barrio (neighborhood) of San Telmo, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Also known as the San Telmo Sunday Fair, it is a huge fair. With hundreds of stands, it is visited by 10,000+ people every Sunday. Although many of these visitors are Argentines, the majority are tourists from all over the world.
But the fair is much more than an antique market. Here you’ll find everything from clothes and paintings to tango in the street. It’s one of the most famous and liveliest street fairs in the world. And, as you might expect, there’s also an abundance of food since there are plenty of little cafes and restaurants everywhere you look.
The Buenos Aires’ San Telmo Sunday Street Fair is one of the most colorful and interesting experiences you can have in Buenos Aires, with plenty to do and see. Don’t miss it when you’re in Buenos Aires.
It’s located in Plaza Dorrego and runs every Sunday from approximately 10am to 4pm.
