Jim Ferri has been reporting on world travel ever since he became a freelance magazine photographer and writer following a tour of duty in the US Army. He has been the managing editor of a major U.S. travel magazine, and an international tourism public relations and marketing executive and consultant for France, Mexico, New York State, Ireland, Malaysia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Thailand, among many others.
He has lectured on Destination Marketing and Hospitality Marketing at New York University, St. John’s University and The George Washington University, been a keynote speaker for the California Travel Industry Association and was co-producer of the international televised special “Salute to the French Bicentennial,” the first “official” television “birthday card” from one nation to another.
Prior to becoming the Editor of NeverStopTraveling he was the editor of the popular blog “Trends in Travel and Tourism” and the international newsletter “Marketing & Tourism Trends.” His work has appeared in scores of well-known publications worldwide including the Los Angeles Times, Newsday, Esquire, Travel-Holiday, etc.
